APHSA Recognizes the University of Utah’s Virtual Social Work Trainer System with the Technology Innovation Award

Arlington, VA: The American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) announced the University of Utah’s Virtual Social Work Trainer (VSWT) system as the recipient of the Technology Innovation Award during this year’s National Staff Development and Training Association (NSDTA) Conference. This award is designed to recognize an accomplishment in any area of training, organizational development, or workforce development where technology was used to develop or create a product or program to support or elevate the quality of services offered in public human service agencies. The University of Utah is receiving this year’s award for their groundbreaking advancements in child welfare training achieved through the VSWT system.
